Independence day-Yashvee

Our Independence Day is one of those days where even the poor celebrate, so it is no doubt that like each year, NESISM has created wonderful tribute to India by creating one of the most perfected online celebrations ever.

The NESISM team has worked tirelessly for the past month to create a wonderful video which is a drama all about Vikram Batra. It was so great, we have created an article all about it!

Welcome speech: The PYP students of NESISM have created a wonderful speech stating how this day is cherished with loads of people feeling proud of the freedom and success of our nation.

The march pass formally takes place displaying discipline more than ever before.

The flag is hoisted in real time in a grand way.

The flag song displays the work of Shyamlal Gupta Parshad in the song “Janda Ucha Rehe Hamara”.

A wonderful dance is performed by the EYP section.

NESISM’s head, Dr. R Varadarajan sir gives a wonderful speech about how India was first a British slave, and after 200 years of rule, India was able to overthrow the rule of Britain over India and now after we are a proud Indian, we should work for Mother India. He also talked about the number of medals we have got, and how we should work on getting more.

He told: “In the next Olympics meet at in France, we should not get a merely 7, but 70 medals should lead.”

A oath is taken to protect, respect and work for mother India and we will not forget about the freedom fighters who helped India gain independence.

The biopic about Captain Vir Batra starts with his childhood, which explains how he was brave, courageous and sparked to join the army.

Captain Vikram Batra received his primary education from The Navy Public School in Palampur and completed his Senior Second education from Kendraya Vidyalaya Palampur where he created a lot of army friends. In collage, he joined the NCC and won the award of a NNC cadet, And he won a green belt in Karate.

He got through the IMA, and got into 13 JAK AND RIF, a company known for its exceptionally brave soldiers and impossible tasks.

Before he went, he met his family and fiancé, Dimple.

After his post, he was preparing for his break, but it was shortened due to firing threats being high from the Pakistani side.

“Kargil Intrusion would have never been known till it was too late had it not been for a simple Shepard who was tending his sheep and noticed many suspicious slow movements and immediately took the courage and did not waste time to report it to the armed forces.” said a PYP students.

The famous quote “Ye Dil Mange More” empowered many sucessful and brave acts from the Indian side.

The point 5140 was eventually captured  by the bravo and delta team which provided a great insight of the place, And then in the capture of point 5140 he sadly passed away ending the kargil war.
