This day is a remembrance for the soldiers who risked their life, their family and their house. These soldiers fought for us by sacrificing their everything for our mother earth. Thousand and thousands of soldiers die and by polluting the earth with plastic we are just destroying everything they have worked for.

Jawaharlal Nehru declared India's independence on 15th August in 1947. Captain Vikram Bhatra, PVC was an officer of the Indian army. Vikram Bhatra was awarded the Param Vir chakra-India's highest and most prestigious award. Unfortunately, Vikram Bhatra died in the age of 25.

  On 15th August it is India's Independence Day and NESISM has celebrated Independence Day by creating a biopic on Capt. Vikram Batra. Captain Vikram Batra was a key part in India's victory over Pakistan in the Kargil war. An online celebration was a hard feat seeing that all the editing, countless clips as well as the performances would have been very difficult to manage but NESISM had been able to manage all of this and put on a stellar performance. A parent stated that "My favorite part of the celebration was the gymnastic performance since it showcased the talent of the school. Vikram Batra was born in the Palampur District of Himachal Pradesh, Vikram had a dream to become a soldier from a very young age and he used to be very kind to everyone and was a class favourite of almost all his teachers. Multiple dances, songs and skits truly made this Independence Day celebration a memorable one for all those who have viewed the NESISM celebration.
