Rains are Fun !

While I was sipping my hot milk at the living room window, the rain was playing its music.. What was music to me was a concern to my dad, who was getting ready for office.  It's going to be another messy day- he said, with traffic all around.  Mumma was pleased like me - Oh! what beautiful weather! she said. We do not need air conditioners today, was her view. Rains have been looked at differently by individuals, which is a boon to a farmer, can be a challenge to construction workers, children would like to have fun, whereas, for the office goers, it's a concern.  We in India are blessed to have a 'rainy season' whereas many countries are dry and do not get any rain. Today, we speak about reducing pollution and planting trees, we want groundwater and rain for our crops to grow. On the other hand, we are worried about floods, loss of lives, diseases caused by waterlogging, and mismanagement. Environment teaches us to have a balance in all things that we do. We as huma...

Online celebration of Independence day NESISM 2021

Independence Day marks the occasion when India finally achieved freedom against Britishers on  15 August 1947 . The national festival is a reminder of the countless sacrifices of our leaders and freedom fighters. It also marks the anniversary of the partition of the subcontinent into two countries, India and Pakistan, which occurred at midnight on August 14–15, 1947.  To mark the historic day, Jawaharlal Nehru hoisted the Indian national flag above the Lahori Gate of Red Fort in Delhi. This became a symbolic gesture and continues to take place every year on August 15 as India celebrates its Independence Day.  Today, 15 August we celebrate the 75 independence day but unfortunately for the last 2 years, we have been celebrating it online due to covid 19. The meaning of celebrating it online means to watch it on a screen because it is online it is not as fun to see your friends on stage or perform on stage But it is fun to anyway to watch yourself on screen. ...
